He there! No this is not a Pirate Post (though I hope one day I can write one) this is just the way people say hello in the Czech Republic. If you read my last, Dekuji you will know I went on a father daughter trip that strated out with some fantastic Czech food and a very Christmasy spirit under snow and freezing cold.
Prague is such an amazing city and there is absolutely so much to do starting off with Prague Castle and St. Vitus Cathedral.
Breathtaking isn’t it?
Before you get to the castle make sure you stop by a little museum on the way. You can pay for admission and go in or take a cool pic with these giant statues. You can also see both the castle and the cathedral from here.
The inside of the cathedral is astounding and the castle reveals the type of live many of the monarchs who inhabited used to lead. In our case we decided to buy the entry for almost all of the places The Old Royal Palace, St. George’s Basilica, the Golden Lane, St. Vitus, Wenceslas and Adalbert Cathedral. There is the longer route which includes a tower that overlooks the whole city.
Additionally you get to walk around a street filled with little shops, including marionette ones which makes up a big part of Czech culture. You also will be able to read about how people lived over the different centuries and you know drink more hot wine!
After a long walk and some freezing around we went for traditional Czech food served on the streets.
